Lee Edward McIlmoyle James already knows i love this album in an obscene fashion that defies explanation. He knows I'm a Proghead, and yet his angular, edgy alt.rock music just hits so many happy buttons for me. The whole album is wonderful, but I particularly enjoy Shiny Dark Bar, from the spitfire intro to the crunchy chorus to the minimalist guitar solo to the singalong outro. It's a tour de force of post-pop magic. Favorite track: Shiny Dark Bar.
